About Us

Crews Engineering Services, LLC is a civil engineering firm owned and operated by Brett and Celena Crews in Lake City, FL. We provide services required for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of development projects. Products include supporting documents required for permitting and construction of projects through local, state and federal entities as well as certified design documents.

Brett was born and raised in Lake City and is a 1996 graduate of Columbia High School. He attended Lake City Community College and then continued on to the University of Florida where he earned his BS in Civil Engineering in 2001. His diversified work experience includes design firms in Jacksonville, FL and Houston, TX as well as here in Lake City. He also completed the Florida Department of Transportation Professional Engineer Training Program here in Lake City. Brett became a licensed professional engineer (PE) in 2007.

Celena was born and raised in Bradenton, FL and is a 1994 graduate of Southeast High School. She earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida in 2000. After graduation she worked as an engineer for the Boeing/NASA team on the International Space Station program at Kennedy Space Center here in Florida and at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as a mission support engineer for Mission Control. She and Brett moved home to Lake City in 2003 to be with family. She teaches developmental mathematics at Florida Gateway College and is a private math tutor.
